Hawaii is different – after all, it’s why people move here. And that difference, which we love, implies there are both gains and losses. We gain the best weather, natural beauty, and an amazing culture. So what do we lose? Our local girl Aina is in a great position to share her experience (given that she was born and raised in Hawaii and is now going to college in the mainland) about what she misses about the mainland when back home in the islands.
I didn’t find anything that I would miss about the mainland in that article. Those four reason are why I want to be in Hawaii so much, because . My wife and I currently live in Northern Michigan, those are the things we would like to get away from. One day, I will be spending my winters in Hawaii, this is a promise my wife and I have made to each other. I have lived with the four seasons my entire life, we have grown tired of the winter cold. We have the Aloha spirit, we visit every year for a month. Hopefully soon, it be our winter getaway.
