Growth rate continues to increase while hospitalization and death rates are unchanged.

The growth in cases is somewhat expected because of more availability of testing.  The free Kakaako test results that started last week are starting to come in and more testing leads me to believe that we’ll get ever-increasing cases.

The silver lining here is that we’ve had no reported increase in hospitalization or the death rate.  I’m pulling in more numbers from around the world to see where we compare. I pulled out countries with 100-200 cases and they have an average death rate of 2.3%, which for us translates to about 4-5 deaths – yet we’re (thankfully!) still at zero.  I’ll try to incorporate these trends in future graphs.
