A View of Kapiolani Park You Rarely See
Drones have brought us this amazing new perspective, like this one of Kapiolani Park and Diamond Head. I really love the contrasting colors of the crystal clear ocean, the green of the park, the golden sun-lit Diamond Head and the housing and mountains in the background. Enjoy!

Do you have favorite Hawaii photos that others would enjoy? Share them!
The very best photos of Hawaii are those taken by folks that do not consider themselves professionals because to me it shows that this beauty of Hawaii is within reach of everyone. If you have any treasured Hawaii photos that you would like to share, I’d love to publish them!
Just fill out this form we’ll get the process started!
Peter, I have written you in the past regarding retiring in Hawaii on one of the major islands, and, since then, have visited the Big Island (in 2022) and it confirmed that which I knew in my heart.
Hawaii is the love of my life and I would anything short of killing someone to spend the rest of my earthly life there.
Alas, I cannot because my wife would never live in Hawaii under any circumstances. I am between a rock and a hard place…and it deeply saddens me.
Your aloha friend,

I’m sorry to hear that. Perhaps you and your wife can find a compromise. Buy a small condo in Hawaii and come out 1x a year for a few months, then rent it out for the rest of the year.
Hi Peter! I’ve been subscribed for a few yrs & love all of your thoughtful articles & pics-thank you!
Am visiting now & was introduced to the ‘Hotpads’ app-it’s very thorough & seems good for people like myself & my guy who are looking to rent. (you may already know about it but just thought i’d pass it along just in case…)
You are so blessed to live here!!
Aloha!!
Linda
Mahalo Linda! I just heard about that! Good luck in renting!
