You go back to surfing the internet until the next timer expires, letting you know – time to water again. No wait, you go back to surfing and set your waterproof Timex Ironman to go off when you need to water next.

Grow pot in your home – substantial amounts of pot in Hawaii – and get 30 days of jail which you can do ON THE WEEKENDS!

This guy – Edwin Lively on Big Island was growing over 250 plants and got 30 days – with a “do your time on the weekends” from the judge.

Sweet deal, right?

Police raided Lively’s home on March 16, 2009, and found 160 plants from seedlings to 8 inches tall, and another 95 plants between 8 inches and 2 feet tall, on trails leading from his property.

Inside the house, they found 2.4 grams of dried marijuana, 10.1 grams of marijuana seeds and a .22 caliber semi-automatic pistol with ammunition. Source: Hawaii Tribune Herald: Pot Growers Given Light Sentences

Apparently he got off on a plea deal.

Is growing pot the ultimate job in Hawaii – or was this guy just lucky for some reason?
