Moving to Hawaii from New York – The Arnsteins
Victoria Arnstein is someone I found through her ultra-running husband, Michael. She does her own Youtube videos that I subscribed to a while back. I was glad to see a couple new videos she just shot in the islands as they moved there to try it out for a year. Victoria is also an ultra-runner now! She ran a 50 mile race not long ago (this year I think). Anyway, an inspirational person that can maybe give you a good idea what living in Hawaii is like because she’s there, living the dream.

I’ve lived Hawaii since the mid ‘80s when I moved here at the age of 21. I arrived site-unseen in Honolulu with zero contacts and about $5k in savings. I worked from nearly zero and today Hawaii has given me the greatest gifts in the world in all aspects: spiritually, financially, romantically (married since early ‘90s w/ 2 children), and most important, peace. My goal with this site is to share the magic of this Land of Aloha and help others who are on a similar quest.
Tony from New York, Victoria love your video and your spirit hope to see you there !!
Looking forward to it!
I live in New York right now as we speak and I like Victoria and I like her spirit and like to stay in touch with her working on making a move and thank God took Peter Kay’s online courses and let me tell you it opens your eyes very wide because he tells it like it is I like that it makes you think in a very different way,
Thank you Victoria hope to see you when I get there, Aloha !!!!!
Yo mike hit me up
I live in new york city and am planning to move in about a year. Hawaii is high on my list but a move there (or somewhere else—warmer!) will depend on employment. I hope to visit Oahu in the spring to get a better idea of everything. I enjoyed Victoria’s video, thank you for sharing it.
Yes, no problem. The Arnsteins are very inspiring people! Let me know if you move to the islands and what you encounter. Would love to hear about your trip. Aloha!
