Diamond Head: Hawaii Photo of the Week

The view from Diamond Head never gets old! Hawaii-163-1 by 27191720@N07 is licensed under CC BY-NC 2.0. Image may have been resized or cropped from original and has been 27191720@N07.

Why We Love the View from Diamond Head

If you’re looking for one of the best views on Oahu, Diamond Head delivers every time. This photo captures the stunning contrast of Waikiki’s high-rises, the deep blues of the Pacific, and the lush greenery of the island—all from the summit of one of Hawaii’s most famous hikes.
The hike itself is a short but rewarding trek, climbing through old military tunnels and up steep staircases before opening up to this postcard-perfect view. It’s the kind of scene that reminds you why so many people dream of moving to Hawaii.
Living in Hawaii isn’t just about the beaches—it’s about moments like this, where you can see the beauty of the islands from a whole new perspective. Whether you’re a visitor or a local, this is one of those spots that never gets old.

Big Mahalo to web! Photos from our subscribers, especially amateur ones, are my favorites because they illustrate how incredibly beautiful Hawaii is and anyone with a phone can take stunning shots. Mahalo web for sharing!
