Island Fever is the term many use for an insatiable desire to “get off the rock”. Personally, I’ve never had it. In fact, I’d say I have the exact opposite “Island Glue” (my term) which is to say I don’t want to go anywhere off the island!
That said, while you might not get Island Fever, you might get bored. Again, not me, but depending on your lifestyle, I could see where some might get bored. Perhaps if you have children you might hear that term (if you haven’t already).
