At first glance, this looks like an oil painting. Haleakala Crater is such an other-worldly place, it has to be seen in person to be believed. So other-wordly in fact that NASA used this crater to train astronauts for their moon landing. Enjoy!

Love going up to Haleakala. Very peaceful and moving. The silence is deafening at times, amazing place, always in total awe!!!
