OK, not all of Hawaii is as you say. If you’re in Honolulu or Waikiki then it is. But if you are at country anywhere it is quite a bit colder. We live on the big Island. I woke up this morning it was 56°. We had it rain pretty much the majority of the day, it never got above 65. If you’re looking for that 75 to 80° weather year-round you need to be down at the water.
Thanks Andy for adding to this – yes, of course – not every square inch of the state has identical climates. The slopes of Haleakala, for example, are also cooler. Either in this or another video I did mention that folks living in higher elevations have cooler temperatures. I’m certain that readers interested in the Big Island will appreciate your comment. Mahalo!
