Honolulu: the big city with the very small town feel

There are job fairs at the convention center all the time. They usually focus on tourism related occupations, but also health, construction, education, and other fields. Image Copyright CyberCom, Inc.

If someone dropped you in the middle of Honolulu and you didn’t know where you were,  you would swear it’s a small town (except for the traffic but that’s another story).  Yet, the island of Oahu has nearly a million people.  While I’ve created a video to explain why people are so nice here, our local girl Aina has written up a collection of daily living examples from her life growing up here and if you want that kind of insight, this is it.
