I’ve lived Hawaii since the mid ‘80s when I moved here at the age of 21. I arrived site-unseen in Honolulu with zero contacts and about $5k in savings. I worked from nearly zero and today Hawaii has given me the greatest gifts in the world in all aspects: spiritually, financially, romantically (married since early ‘90s w/ 2 children), and most important, peace. My goal with this site is to share the magic of this Land of Aloha and help others who are on a similar quest.
Hi Peter. I am wondering about how am I able to get fresh vegetables and fruits. Also to be delivered to me while I am in quarantine for 14 days. Any ideas?
I imagine Hilo will be a challenge. Have you called the local grocery stores like KTA? Try that first and they might be able to help. Also, if you’re staying at a hotel, they can probably help as well.
Hi Peter. Would you be able to provide ideas about any delivery services in and around Hilo, Hi that will bring me fresh vegetables and fruits to my hotel room while I am in quarantine for 14 days.
What about Canada? I plan to come to my big Island property in September.
Right now this applies to all arrivals regardless of origin and also applies to returning residents.
