COVID-19 Corona Virus in Hawaii – what’s it like and what’s next?
COVID-19 Corona Virus is on the top of everyone’s mind around the world and Hawaii is no different. I talk about what it’s like here and most importantly, I talk about what I think we should all do right now about it, no matter where you live.

I’ve lived Hawaii since the mid ‘80s when I moved here at the age of 21. I arrived site-unseen in Honolulu with zero contacts and about $5k in savings. I worked from nearly zero and today Hawaii has given me the greatest gifts in the world in all aspects: spiritually, financially, romantically (married since early ‘90s w/ 2 children), and most important, peace. My goal with this site is to share the magic of this Land of Aloha and help others who are on a similar quest.
Thank you Peter for your manifesto! It REALLY adds wings! My „action” is focused on helping family and neighbours just on basic things like shopping or car transport to avoid public means of transport.
I am observing the situation in Hawaii from Poland where the virus is spreading faster and faster. But what is happening now in USA really frightens me.
I really hope that your geographical isolation will help you once you isolate ALL infected from healthy, which is THE KEY to win this war. And any help for health service is THE SECOND KEY to win! All those people fighting with the virus on the first line are now our Avengers and we need to help them in any way we can!
I am passing all my positive feelings and thoughts towards You and all people living in Hawaii.
Than you Arek and God bless us all!
Thank you for this! I was already planning on going to give blood (my “action”), as that is something I can contribute right now. We have shelter-in-place statewide starting 3/26, so it is one thing I can still do. Thinking also about seeing if any neighbors want to schedule 10-foot distanced yoga in the park, since all our rec centers are closed. Technically it’s outside the law, but the police aren’t out there to bother people who are staying safely apart. ;-)
Was hoping to move to HI in a few years. Not sure now with my biz setbacks, but we’ll see!
God Bless you Melissa! That’s it! YOU have SHIFTED!
Hawaii is not alone. They are part of the United States. Also groups are not going to let Hawaii be alone. We care about you.
Thank you Johnney! Much appreciated. Like I said in the video, “that’s probably not the case but it is how I feel”.
